Custom Sliding Door - Creating flow in the basement hallway and cameo by Toby!
These sliding door designs are very popular today with generic sliding rails and mounting hardware. But when you have a beautiful solid pine door from the 60s and a basement entrance with enclosed plumbing overhead, it calls for some special measurements, clamping and welding techniques to make it happen! I used angle and flat iron along with pulleys, hardware and hinges from the local store. Keeping with the “barn style“ I painted the door red and the mounting hardware and accessories black!
